This thermos is great. My 5 yr old is very picky when it comes to his food and the cafeteria food at his school isn't all that great. He loves taking chicken nuggets or mac-n-cheese in his thermos, and it keeps it warm.

This thermos was terrible, did not leave my child's food hot or even warm!! I ordered this and the thermos stainless steel King 16oz food jar because my son was starting school and his first day of school lunch was cold, followed the exact directions with the other Steel King Jar I ordered and it worked perfectly. I boiled some water, left in thermos for 10-15mins, and then added a really hot lunch into the jar, and closed it tightly... Worked for one but definitely not this one!! It was clearly not anything I was doing wrong because i followed same directions for both... And it only worked for my other thermos. Save your money and go with the other thermos I mentioned. ?
