I wish it kept food warmer after 4 hours of putting boiling soup in it... But still 4 stars because it's the perfect size for my 7-year-old and he can at least have lukewarm homecooked meal at school rather than cold sandwiches all the time.

The Thermos Funtainer keeps food hot for at least four hours, as my son says it's still hot at lunch. It's a nice, trim size, so it easily fits in his lunchbox. Easy to clean, too. They say it's dishwasher safe, but for best results, wash by hand. I do both, and have had no problems.

I do not like this little thermos, I bought it because the rating was high on how it kept food hot. It does not work, i"ve tried putting boiling water in to heat it up before I put my hot soup in, by lunch time it's barely warm. A very big disappointment, I would not recommend buying this product.

Perfect for kid's lunchbox. Keeps mac & cheese hot until lunch. If curious how much it will hold, I can easily fit single serve cups/packets of brand name mac & cheese in it (the microwave kind). Not to big. Not to heavy. It cleans nicely. Stainless steel interior. I've not noticed any mold growing on the inside. Its kept up well for almost the entire school year. We purchased this 1/3 into the school year after buying something else that was cheap and it not working so well. It gets washed each time and there is no funny odor like some others have. We wash it by hand just out of a matter of habit. We ordered the blue one (like the picture) and its a nice shade of cobalt blue. The kid is 10 and he uses it without issue.

My son started kindergarten this year and have been using these since the beginning of the school year. I fit 2 perfectly in his lunch bag with a yogurt cup and one other snack. I do pre heat one with boiling water before adding his hot food in it. I had to pick him up early before lunch one day and when I opened his thermos at 1 (prepped at 830) his food was still extremely warm!

I cannot believe how well this works. My nd grader says his soup, or food is warm at her lunch time. (about 4 hours in the container). If you put soup in here it does not leak!!!! He likes corn dogs in his too!! I just cut the corn dog in half and remove the stick.
