I was already using thermos funtainers (past four years) no problems in the old ones also but my son wanted avengers now so I bought for him this one and one hello kitty for my daughter who is not goin to school but want things like her big brother best purchase for moms like me since my kid hate cold lunches and his school hours are long

We usually love Thermos products, but had to throw this one away after it’s first use! I put soup in it for my son to have at camp and it essentially sealed itself shut. Possibly from the heat? I’m not sure but 5 adults tried to open it and failed. A day later the lid popped up a bit (maybe from bacteria growth from the old food?) and we tried again to open it but it was impossible so we had to toss it. What a waste!

Holds enough for a child sized lunch. Have used for soup, mac/cheese, ravioli, spaghetti and the like. When used correctly (prep container by continuously running hot water and only add piping hot food) it keeps lunch warm for 5 hours. Recommend a test at home before sending with school lunch. It is easy for a child to open and easy to clean as well.

Works amazingly well. My son has told me that his food is still too hot at lunchtime, almost 5 hours later. I was worried about the size when it came in, but I am extremely happy with what I can fit into it for my son's lunch. He has not had an issue opening this by himself.
