Very bad product, I bought four packs on December 16. Each one has a life span of only two weeks and the water begins to get sour. After the first filter element took two weeks, the water began to become sour. The second filter element began to become sour after two weeks.Today, the third filter element began to become sour after ten days of use. I measured the TDS to be 77. I started using the last one. As a result, I used the instrument to measure the TDS for the first time. It was found to be 008, which exceeded the 006 standard that needs to be replaced. I really want to ask for a claim.

I have used this for 2 years. Recently I THOUGHT I had a problem with some of their filters, but I since discovered that Sometimes, when you test the water immediately, it will give you a somewhat unsatisfactory result. Shortly thereafter it tests perfectly. I don't recall this happening in the past and it has been a source of confusion. I don't recall being warned of this

When I use water from the tap or water from the ZeroWater pitcher - it makes a difference in my daily tea. Now I'm using the water to cook everything from soup to pasta. I usually fill my pitcher 2 times a day - it takes about one month in my zone to use a filter. The 006 indicator is too low for where I live - more like 023 is time for change.

I have been using Zerowater filters for years now. Especially this particular model for our filter container but I have been observing the speed at which this filter turns from TDS 0 to 300+ withing matter of 2 weeks. Last year it used to retain low TDS for upto a month but these recent filters are quite a concern. I detect there is no change in TDS quality without the filters since years now.

It used to be a good filter but now it goes bad in 1 week. It used to be 1 month, then 2 weeks, and now this filter works for only 1 week. Water gets sour and impossible to drink. It's kind of expensive to pay $50 for 4 filters and use them all in one month. I'm filtering as much water is before but this filter still goes bad really fast. Water tastes good only for the first few days. Will look for another brand.

I'm not sure if these were original, Zero Water factory produced because they only resulted in a satisfactory (close to zero) reading for a couple of weeks before the taste became so terrible that it prompted me to take a reading. I have ordered directly from Zero Water in the past and each of their filters lasted several months. Unless Amazon can assure me that they are original, Zero Water produced filters, I will no longer order them from Amazon. I rarely have complaints about Amazon products but I felt this instance was so egregious I needed to advise others in the Zero Water filter market.

Great value for the money. Some filters do not last as long as others and I am not sure why. I do change it once it reads a 7 . My only complaint is that I wished they lasted longer. I do a pitcher of water a day a filter lasts about a month. I have a coffee maker that also has a charcoal filter. I can clean it after months of use there is no scale not even any brown residue. The filters do a great job. If you want good coffee start with great water.

I made this purchase on March 19, 2020. I just opened my first one, and it was WET. It was sealed and made to look like the real thing but wet when opened. Thought this was a fluke and opened the other 3 in the box. ALL were wet and very light compared to the real Zero water filter’s had on hand. Filtered and tested. Water came out at 147ppm. I compared the bags they came in and they are close but off. You have been warned. Do not order these. Very disappointed. First thing I’ve ordered off amazon that has been a true and verifiable fake.

I guess you get what you pay for? I thought I was getting a good deal, but when 4 filters only last 2 people 4 months I think something is wrong when there was 3 people in the house and we usually bought our filters at Walmart in a 2 pack and a 2 pack lasted 4 to 6 months. Yea I think something is wrong with these filters.

We purchased these filters (4) pack to save money. When they arrived they (all 4 filters) were in a generic brown box, but the plastic bag that each filter came in, said they are genuine Zero Water Filters. As a habit, I placed a Post-It note on the side of our Zero a Water Pitcher with the date that I changed the filter.I put the first filter (from this order) in on January 16, 2020 and it lasted until January 25, 2020 (9 days). After the 9th day, the water tasted sour/bitter and the PPM gage indicated the desolved solids exceeded 006 (actually it was around 015 to 020), so I changed the filter to another one from this order (change date January 25, 2020). That filter lasted until January 31, 2020 (11 days). So, these two Zero Water filters lasted a combined total of 20 days until the water tasted sour/bitter and exceeded the 006 PPM (about 015 to 020 PPM, until the water tasted noticeably bad and undrinkable).We have since “retired” our Zero Water pitcher, and have gone back to purchasing bottled water where the quality is known, and NO sour/bitter taste.

These filters are amazing when they are new. We drink a lot of water, and filter usually lasts us 1-2 months. As soon as the water starts to taste sour or off, we change it. The fresh water from the new filter tastes like an ad where people are drinking from a fresh mountain stream. It is fantastic!

I’ve read a lot of reviews and I too have an issue with longevity with these filters as does my daughter in law. These do not last more than about 10 days and I am a single person household. My daughter in law has the same issue but they are only lasting about a week. I’m going back to Target to purchase my filters unless I can get them at Sam’s club. These are JUNK!!!

Each filter lasted us for more than 2 weeks. We’re a family of 5 plus a pet in North TX and we cook often. I’d say we use approximately 20 gallons a week.Initially the water is amazing. Smooth and silky soft. Love the taste, or lack there of. But soon it starts to citrusy. Certainly not a very good value proposition

Great water filter. Depending on how much junk is in your tap water to begin with will affect longevity if the filter. First bought these filters when I lived in Houston. Water right out of the tap using the meter showed 256. Moved to Atlanta and water out of tap listed 56 on meter. My filters last much, much longer in Atlanta!

If they can do something better with the filter to last longer I will give it a 10 out of 10 but do that the filter runs out in one week or a week and a half it's not good because that means I will have to buy 100 doesn't filters the last throughout the year is it worth it now the quality of the water is great

I am a fan of the Zero Water system, and I will continue using it, but I will be buying my filters directly from the Zero Water website from now on.After receiving this order from Amazon, I noticed that the blue band around the top was darker than usual. Then I noticed that there were soft spots in the filter where it felt like there was missing material inside. Otherwise, everything else, including the packaging, appeared to be identical to the genuine filters. The filters worked fine. The water still measured 000 on the meter, but they didn't last as long as the genuine ones.I just received an order directly from Zero Water, and there are no soft spots; they are solid all the way around.

Top notch filters. Only way you’re going to get a better filter is a reverse osmosis system. I live in an area with a significant mineral content in the water, these are the only filters that do the job right. EVERY other brand has inferior taste and doesn’t last nearly as long.

I love the Zero water filter system. Even though there are filters on the fridge and tap, the Zero filter removes even more junk from the water. We get cleaner and great tasting water. The filters do not last very long due to high consumption of water. But, having the option to buy several at a good price makes it worth it.

Tastes really good compared to tap, and where I live we have above average water. The only drawback is when the filters go past their life, it seems they emit kind of a bad taste intot he water. Hard to tell if thats by design from the manufacturer or if it is really releasing built up stuff from the filter.

I tried four other brands of pitcher filters and nothing worked until ZeroWater. Used my own TDS meter on all. We have really hard water that measures in the 700s in Southern AZ, the cats and I were pretty sick when we moved here and it took a while to figure out the water was the problem. Can not live without ZeroWater now!

I like our ZeroWater filter, but have had very very bad experience with their replacement filters. We've purchased filters that don't work at all or fail after a couple of uses. These aren't inexpensive purchases and to sell defective products with no recourse is just unethical. I don't recommend purchasing this product.

Love this water filter! Only thing is sometimes the water doesnt filter through so quickly. Not sure if something happens with the air pressure inside the filter. But water tastes great and love the item that measures the things in the water. My just died. Need to replace the batteries. But water tastes like lemon when the filter usually needs to be changed.

These seem to work fine but with less than 2 weeks use they are worn out. I feel like I dont use enough water to exhaust these that fast but the readings spike very drastically. Hoping to find one that'll be good for a bit longer or cost maybe a little less if its only a 2 week use. I could haul water from the store significantly cheaper if the filters arent going to last.

After a bit of usage, I found the water taste was undesirable and the Zero Water company claimed that the filter needed changing. I then decided to test their recommendation by recycling their water rather than adding new water. What we found is when the water became bitter after a term when recycling the so-called purified water. Why does the water become bitter after recycling their pure water? My guess is there is a chemical change even with there recycled so-called PURE WATER over time. Great obsolescence!

I know it sounds crazy but the water tastes so good after these filters. I have actually started drinking it more. We are in Klas Vegas so the water is some of the worst in the country, but after the filter I even use it in my humidifier!
