Dieser Messerschleifer ist eine fantastische Hilfe ! Mit 2 verschiedenen Härten kann man entweder stumpfe Messer neu schleifen ODER oder leicht abgenutzte Messer nachschleifen. Auch für ungeübte Leute einfach anzuwenden.

It works adequately well. You really need to pull through more than 5-7 times. Also, product received not as displayed. A minor detail, the unit received did not have the IKON logo on the side but does have the Wusthof logo, but non-the-less that it is not what is depicted on the site.

Das lohnt sich überhaupt nicht. Man schleift und schleift und das Messer bleibt Stumpf.Teuer Zwilling und berndes Messer und auch dick Messer. Keine Chance.Dachte liegt an der Klinge, aber nach 5 Minuten über den Schleifstein scharf wie der TeufelAlso absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Billiger Schrott.

Ein einfacher, aber effektiver Schärfeinsatz, so wie er sonst auch überall zu finden ist.Passt im Design zu meinen Messern und ist wegen des hohen Metallanteils an Griff und Gehäuse sehr stabil.Ideal für Leute wie mich, die einfach nur ein scharfes Messer haben wollen und keine Wissenschaft daraus machen möchten.

Liegt sehr gut in der Hand, lässt sich gut dosieren, mit wenigen Abziehungen sind selbst stumpfeste Messer schnell wieder scharf, auch für Damaszenerklingen auf der Keramikseite zu verwenden, selbst Keramicmesse mit Scharten können wieder nahezu ausgeglichen werden.Grobes abziehen auf der Diamantenseite und feines abziehen auf der Keramikseite möglich!So etwas habe ich schon lange gesucht, ersetzt jeden Wetzstahl!Klare Empfehlung!

The build quality is great and it looks nice. It just doesn't really sharpen that well. I followed instructions exactly, repeated over and over again, but the knife didn't get very sharp. I'm sure there are better methods, like sharpening stones.

Does a fairly decent job of returning some of the sharpness to my knives but definitely not up to par like when I first bought them. I can only achieve that same sharpness using a whetstone which takes much longer and why I was hoping this product would solve all that. Sadly it doesn't. Still a decent product and much easier and faster to use than a sharpening and/or honing steel.

Endlich ein Gerät, welches meine Küchenmesser so schärft, dass Mann / Frau auch Fleisch perfekt schneiden / bearbeiten kann.Für gehetzte bzw. gestresste Menschen ist dieser Messerschärfer nicht zu empfehlen, da man das Messer je ca. 15 mal pro Seite abwechselnd durchziehen muss.Aber das Ergebnis ist PERFEKT ! Wir sind äußerst zufrieden.(Also warum mehr Geld für evtl. schlechtere Ergebnisse in der Qualität ausgeben?)

Gerät ersetzt nicht den regelmässigen Gang zum Messerschleif-Dienst! Nach wenigen Anwendungen praktisch kein Effekt mehr. Lieber einen Wetzstahl benutzen und zum Grundschärfen 1-2 mal im Jahr ins Fachgeschäft geben.

Ho affilato un solo coltello con lama in acciaio, ho passato la lama 4 volte, è risultata ben affilata. Secondo coltello: ho ripetuto la procedura, niente! ho provato con altri coltelli con lama in acciaio, niente! dunque ha terminato immediatamente la capacità di affilare.

Ist in Ordnung für zwischendurch, wenn der Abziehstahl nicht mehr wirklich befriedigende Ergebnisse bringt. Wenn der Schliff aber wirklich runter ist, hilft nur "richtiges" Nachschleifen und auch dieses Gerät ist dann nutzlos - man sollte da keine Wunder erwarten.
