A few issues:1. It leaks. You can't throw this in your bag and go.2. I love the harness on it, looks cool. However, it goes right to the lip of the bottle, so when you drink, your lips come into contact with it (which I believe will make it dirty over time). I always try to waterfall it into my mouth for that reason.it lasted me 10 months, the cap broke and the bottom is dented now.Not bad overall.

I wanted a much larger than normal stainless steel water bottle. Some of my favorite tea (Sportea and others) comes in a quart sized "ice tea' tea bag., so I needed a oversized bottle to steep the tea overnite.This seemed perfect. I did run a batch of boiling water with some white vinegar thru the bottle. Still, no off flavors. True, it's not super-thick metal, but can you imagine how heavy this would be using the double-thick metal that some water bottle use?

this is a heavy duty bottle and i like that the inside of the cap is also steel. unless you plan on clipping this thing onto a bike, i found the strap useless and cut it off with a knife (there is no way to remove it otherwise because it is too tight on the nozzle and doesnt have a release system). when the strap is on it, you can sit it upright easily as there is a strap that goes across the bottom (which, again cannot be easily removed).

Perfect water bottle.Construction and quality is the best compared to others comming on the market now.The 40 oz is also perfect in that the cap portion entering the water bottle is also stainless steel and not plastic.Although some stainless steel water bottles have plastic friendly caps; you don't run the risk of ever stripping the cap by the threads if you use it alot. Something that will last for years to come.

Do yourself a fiscal favor and stay away. After approximately 2 months of regular use (not dropped, mishandled, ect)the cap has completely detached and the bottle is now useless. I never even used the loop on top to hold the bottle. It just came apart during normal usage.The cap has 3 pieces to it: the plastic loop, an o-ring seal, and a steel threaded plug. All three pieces have detached from each other with the threaded plug stuck in the bottle.I bought this specifically to save money, and now I have to drop more money for a replacement. The bottle should be designed right the first time.

Nice big size. Make sure to wash opening with soap and water to remove the smell of steel. I would give it 5 stars, but the cap is a pain to open/close. Sometimes the plastic piece on the cap comes off. When you put it back on, you find yourself constantly trying to twist the cap closed because you're unsure if it's closed all the way. All in all it is a good product for the money and it has not leaked.

Very good bottle, only one issue though and that is the thing will leak if you don't torque it down!! I had to get this style of bottle because for some reason I always end up dropping my water bottles and with the other hard plastic style the fall head first and break. I've destroyed at least 4 in this manner and finally decided to go with a stainless steel construction. The water taste fine to me no metallic taste at all. Would I buy this product again, yeah I probably would.
