It works alright with standard grocery cheeses, but this slicer is pretty flimsy. The wire loosens and is difficult to tighten, even with the required screwdriver. Plus, you end up eating plastic because the white cylinder scrapes against the uneven bits that stick out along the seam of molded metal just beneath it.

Okay value for the price but the materials are pretty low quality and the wire loses tension regularly. Does the job for my purpose (getting a young, knife fearing child to cut their own cheese) but wouldn't stand up to much more frequent use.

The wire tensioning screws do NOT keep the cutting wire tight.Cuts soft mozzarella cheese OK, struggles with muenster, not good on 1-year-old cheddar. Feels clumsy in my hands.

El producto aparenta tener buena calidad hasta que lo sacas del empaque. Por un lado parece muy bueno pero al darle vuelta, pareciera que falta la mitad. No es muy agradable al tacto cuando lo ocupas ya que sientes los bordes de la mitad que falta.En cuanto al envío, llego muy pronto.
