It's a beautiful box but won't close shut if you stand Bigelow tea bags up. You has to lie the bags ontop of each other, defeating the point of this tea box displaying a variety of tea. Tazo and Twinnings seem to fit find but since Bigelow's my main tea brand of choice, I'm wavering between keeping this or sending it back.

This item was exactly as described. It was not cheaply made, and there were no rough surfaces. I do agree with another reviewer about the smell of the product, I let it air out for a day and then it was fine. I also agree with the same reviewer about the magnet in the lid being strong, but I have not had any issues opening it. I have Stash, Twinings, Yogi, Bigelow, and a few other brands of teabags that fit in it just fine without having to lie them down... the lid does close with the teabags upright.

It gets the job done, it's well built, there's enough room to fill each compartment with bags standing up, then lay one on top so you can see what it is. I've become a fan of bamboo products lately, I like the texture of the wood, it's very hard and light weight.

Mine came “unassembled” or “broken”. It seems strange to need to put together a box. All the sharp nails are exposed and it smells. Very difficult to even get back into the cardboard box it came in and it was bubble wrapped in there so I don’t understand why or how it’s just completely apart.

Like so much I have purchased four for my extensive tea collection. They look good as well as are useful.. I can see many other potential uses for the box other then tea storage and may get some for craft items. The see-through lid is great when one has several of them.

I have purchased 11 of these in the past few months as gifts, along with the Bigelow tea assortment. Everyone loves them. The box is very well made and nice looking. There was a tiny ding in one of them, but barely noticeable. Nicely packaged also for gift-giving. Looks like I paid more than the pricetag. I highly recommend!

Purchased this for a gift as I have a similar product and really like it. On this item, the lid does not close fully unless the tea bags are lain flat in the compartments. I prefer them "filed" otherwise, it is a nice box and adequate for it's purpose.

Arrived in good shape, fits all my tea bags. It did arrive with a strong manufactured smell, but I just let it air out for an hour or so. I currently have some standing and some laying flat. I was able to fit almost a whole box of Stash tea bags in one slot by laying them flat and flipping every other one.
