The box was well formed and performs the task well. That said, there is a distinct odor from the bamboo that needs to air out before use. I only put sealed tea bags into the box which limits me a bit as I am unsure how the tea might be affected by the smell. However, the organization, spacing and construction are good. We have been using it daily for a few months.

I was so excited to be receiving this product, I have a big tea collection and I love wood boxes... the amazon package was a bag, not a good start, and then as I excitedly opened the box... almost immediately it fell apart, I felt my heart drop the more I inspected it and found it was cheaply put together with wood glue and flimsy staples. I seriously recommend not buying this one, you'd probably be better off paying for a more expensive one.

This is a great way to organize tea. We had all of our tea thrown in a basket in a cabinet. I ran into this by accident on Amazon. Decent price point and worked great. I wish it had a clasp or closure for the lid but otherwise loved it.

I was shocked by how strong and horrible the smell was when I opened this box - it smelled something like formaldehyde, definitely not what I want in any of my food. I let it air out for several days hoping the smell would lessen, but it did not. While the box I received appeared relatively well-crafted for storing things other than food, I would never put food in something that smelled that bad, and certainly not something as delicately flavored as tea. Incredibly disappointed in this product, and strongly recommend against it. Find a product in an actual store - I will not be ordering something like this online again.

The protective covering on the lid wasn’t on it correctly so the lid arrived scratched. Other than the not so sturdy plastic window the box seems well made.I probably cant use this box since the measurements were listed wrong. I got it for a gift and I was going to cover it in floral paper to match a friend’s lost heirloom however since it’s a little longer than 12 inches the paper isn’t long enough. I purposefully was looking for something to fit the paper. If it weren’t for that I’d probably get this damaged one replaced ??♀️

Love the box, but teas now come in so many different sizes that they don't fit in compartments.This fits standard size tea bags.Suggestion for the manufacture to make larger and deeper slots.I can't close the box, because most of the premium teas come in larger individual packages.Still love the box though! Keeps everything clean and great presentation for when guests come over and pick out teas.

Beautiful! mine had a protective plastic over the lid that I had to gently cut away with a utility knife because some of it was somehow stuck under the wood. but it worked out fine. also the glass in lid is actually plastic....I dont know if that was advertised. But I love it! Very nice.

In general it’s okay, hold lots of tea bags. The only thing I that the indentation to open the box (sort of a handle) is too small, so you can’t open it with one hand, have to use both

A fantastic organizer for individually wrapped tea bags. It looks nice and clean. There is a small magnet that keeps the top closed, which is convenient. It holds multiple boxes of tea, allowing for space to organize multiple varieties.

The Oceanstar Bamboo Tea Box was very underwhelming. It was packaged nicely and protected during shipment. However, upon removing the box from its packaging, I immediately noticed damages and the poor quality of the bamboo (see pictures). On top of being poorly constructed, it seems too fragile to keep. Unfortunately, we will be buying a plastic tea box or a better quality wooden product.

I love this tea box. I now have 2, because I love them so much. You can fit a box of tea in each slot.You can clearly see tea flavors through glass. I have mine stacked on each other, but also stand them on end next to each other. Keeps teas fresh

Each of the eight compartments will hold around ten normal sized tea bags, maybe a few more if you really pack them in. That's plenty for my use. The lid and body fit together nicely and the hinges seem good quality. There is no latch - I selected it in part because I did not want one.

This tea box will not fit your typical tea bag brands: Tazo, Herbal Medicinals, Twinnings, etc. the Boxes depth is too short to accomodate the height of a standing teabag, and the lid will not close.

I love this tea box! The compartments hold a good amount of bags. The magnets form a snug closure. The clear window on the lid is a nice touch.The only criticism I have is that one side of the box isn’t finished as smoothly as the others. A little quality control may be in order.
