I was looking for a thermos for my Kindergarten son and this is great. The top is a little to big for his hands, but he says his teacher helps him open it at school. I’ve used this for hot items like macaroni and cheese (of which my son did not eat because he was full from the other stuff). (I pack his lunch at 8:00am. I always put boiling water in the thermos first for a few minutes, dump that, then add the hot food.) When I opened it that afternoon (3:45pm) it was still warm. If your a mom who packs their kids lunch everyday, you know how old sandwiches can get. This is a perfect addition to your kids lunch time routine. I pair this with the yumbox mini and it fits perfectly in this lunch box.

With any thermos...prime, prime, prime! I put hot water in this, closed the lid and let sit about 20 minutes while I finished dressing for work. Dumped out the water, added my super hot soup (heated in microwave first). Fast forward 5 hours 4 mintues and my soup is still hot! Yay!!!! Perfect lunch for a 38 degree snowy day!

This product works great .... for certain foods like soup and foods with liquids. I just can’t seem to get items like pasta and macaroni and cheese to stay warm until my boys eat their school lunch. (Yes, I do put boiling water in first and heat the food up rediculously high). It’s a great product - it just doesn’t always work.

This thermos is awesome. It is the perfect size for a nice warm bowl of soup or chili. The great thing is that it also fits perfectly in a kid's lunchbox. The product is sturdy and very well made. It does not leak, keeps the food warm and is super easy to clean.

Great for dry snacks, haven’t tried with soup or anything . My son loves that it matched his Batman thermos. The lid is a bit difficult for my 6 year old to put on, but he likes it and it’s a great size for goldfish and crackers in the car. Could be a bit bigger but maybe there is a bigger size option. Overall very happy after our first day using.

Bought for my son to take to school for his lunch. We used this one and another thermos and alternated them daily for half the school year. It held up well, never leaked and is still in use today. After use, we ran it through the dishwasher so it would be ready for the next day. He’s getting ready to start a new school year and we’ll be using this same thermos again. It’s great for use as a lunch container.

I purchased this about 3 months ago. I wanted to wait before I gave my thoughts .. Awesome!!!!! Before I put food into it ? ? etc. I put hot water in it for 5 minutes. My son said at lunch time 12:30 it was still warm.

Bought this at the beginning of the school year so we have more options for cold lunch. I simply fill it with warm water for a few minutes, put the warm food in it, and it stays warms until lunch time. Excellent purchase. I will note, 10oz is pretty small, but perfect for my elementary aged child. For an adult, I would go with a bigger size.

I bought this for my morning oatmeal that i take to work daily. I fill with very hot tap water first, while I'm boiling water to make the oatmeal for about 4 minutes. I dump it tap water and refill with oatmeal and boiling water. Tightly close. It does NOT stay warm for long at all. One hour later when i go to eat it... it's Luke warm at best. So unless you're making something hot and eating it immediately from thermos, it's not worth the money.

Works perfectly. We usually put applesauce in here and nothing ever comes out.My 5 year old can open and close it with no trouble.My only thing is it's hard to clean the lid a bit, but I use a straw cleaner and it works great.

We have packed lunches with these thermoses for years. I can’t speak to how hot the food is when my kids eat it, but they’ve never complained. They are simple to clean, but make sure you occasionally remove the rubber gasket on the lid to deep clean and prevent mold build up. The only reason we’ve ever replaced one of these is because we lost the gasket (whoops!).

Perfect for my toddler’s lunch a daycare. I “preheat” the Thermos with hot water for about 15 minutes before I empty the water and fill it with hot food. The food is still warm 4 hours later. It’s small enough to fit in his lunch bag and leaves room for other food items.

I use this product for my sons’ (1st grade and Pre-school) school lunches. I have a solid green and a solid blue. It keeps their lunch warm and makes me feel better knowing they’re not stuck eating cold sandwiches everyday. I boil water then pour it into the canister and cover it while I prep their lunch. Once their lunch is ready, I dump out the water, dry the inside, then fill it with their lunch... i.e. mini corn dogs, grilled cheese, meatballs, pizza bites. They’re happy with their lunches now days and that’s a plus for this mom!

LOOOVE IT! IT HOLDS 7 OZ which is fine for me because that how much it holds in a bottle for my kids I use I fo milk in the night so I don't have to get up! Also for travel days I use it to store soup for my kid and it works like a charm! It only lasts up to 6hrs for me but I assume what's you put in it

I purchased two of these to help switch up the lunch routine for my two sons who pack their lunches for school most days. The work great. The food stays warm all day and they love being able to take their favorites to school with them for lunch. It only takes a few minutes to prep everything in the morning and is well worth the time.

This is good for keeping food in as it doesn't leak. However, this thermos does not keep any food warm. I boil water to warm it up as the insert says and still 3 hours later hot food is cold. This was for my middle schoolers lunch so sort of a disappointment. Isn't the point of a thermos to keep warm food warm?

These are great little lifesavers at Disney Parks. Just get your Mac and cheese ready in the morning and at noon it is lunch time for your kids. It kept the temperature very well on a winter day at the Magic Kingdom. I love the thermos brand!!... and no, Mac and cheese is not their regular lunch...

I bought this for my son's school lunches bc he will only eat hot food. It keeps the food hot, according to my son. It must work bc he is an incredibly picky eater and never gives me any problems when I pack his food in this thermos. His lunch is five hours out from when I pack his food for timing purposes.
