軽くておしゃれ

柄とヘラ部分が一体化しているので洗いやすくて清潔です。色も落ち着いた赤なのでミートソース系カレー系の料理をしても染まることはありません。軽くておしゃれでとても使いやすいです。あと、マヨネを手作りしているのでヘラが瓶の口にスッポリ入ったのも嬉しかったです。ちなみに今、瓶の口の直径を測ってみたら6cmでした。ただ、料理中、フライパンに立てかけたまま調味料を入れてると黒い部分がちょっと溶けます。本来の使用には全く問題ないですが、柄の部分も耐熱温度を上げてくれればな〜という期待を込めて☆マイナス１です。

Would be a five star product if it weren't for the black handles. They are not made of the same heat resistance material as the red areas, and if you are like me and more than occasionally leave a utensil resting on the rim of a hot frying pan, it will leave melted indentations on it.

I have two run of the mill spatulas (metal wire handle ones) that had had for over 10 years and are pristine. Mostly used when baking rarely with cooking food as prefer wooden spoons. This one, other than baking, I've stirred sauces a couple of times on a non stick pan. When handwashing noticed the silicone blade edge lost a few bits!Basically unless the spatula came in this manner, we most likely ended up ingesting the silicone bits!!

I have other OXO products so sought out this spatula specifically. It is of excellent quality and I am impressed by the flexibility but sturdiness of it. The handle is not as heavy as the spatula end either so does not fall out if left in the saucepan as some others do.

I wish I purchased this earlier. It totally improved my experience while baking. It is very sturdy, although I use it only to mix dough, batters, etc. and scrape mixing bowls while transferring contents into the baking dishes. The colour is great to cheer up your kitchen and it is super easy to wash. Love it!

Excellent to use, BUT I have had two and both have lost a bit of the silicone at the corner of the blade after a couple of months. A little disappointed therefore. Will be looking elsewhere next time.
