It is great for spreading icing but the description of 9 inches is rather deceiving. The blade is 5 inches and the black handle is 4-1/2 inches. I thought that the blade measurement would have been the 9 inches as described. Nevertheless, I was still able to make good use of the spatula.

you wouldn't thing such a simple device would make such a big difference but it does. I'd seen them used on tv and thought I would give it a whirl. I was pleasantly surprised. I will be getting another in a larger size very soon. I was impressed with the quality as well.

What can I say, it's by Wilton. A good quality, smaller angled spatula good for many uses...icing...loosening up cookies from the pan etc.
