I thought I'd found the perfect travel bottle -- folds up to nothing but holds a lot of water. It was great for a few weeks, but then once I noticed the bottom of my bag was damp. The bottle itself showed no signs of leakage and even if I squeezed it nothing came out. I shrugged my shoulders and kept using it.Then, a few weeks later, I found a puddle of water in the bottom of my bag. This time I did some more investigation. As it turns out, if you apply pressure to the side of the flip-up cap it creates enough of an opening for the contents to leak. So, if you throw this into a packed bag or the like, there's a good chance it could leak.I'm really disappointed as it's a great bottle most of the time, but I just can't deal with unpredictable behavior like this. If you're going to use one of these, do NOT put it in a bag with anything that you don't want to get wet.

Just what I was looking for. A Liter "bottle" that stuffs pretty easily when empty.Only downsides are when it is all the way full it tends to spill bc holding it tends to squeeze it a bit. And the fill spout/area is pretty small so it can be tough to fill without a funnel or making a mess

OK so this might be my first review on Amazon, after most likely being on here for years...I would not recommend this product due to leaking after only a very short time of use, I read the reviews before and I was sold but now after owning this product I am truly disappointed.I have owned 2 of these unit's - My avg commute consists of putting it my bag or strapping it to my bag, after only having the 1st for about a week I noticed that my pants were getting wet I started looking above puzzled... then I noticed it was dripping...I did not even want to believe that this thing was leaking... but it was... I was upset.. but I'm a BIG believer in giving things 2nd chance so sure enough amazon made it real easy to return this thing and get another one.It's been about a 3 weeks.. or more... I was drinking water no problem, I left the thing on my bed... my bed is wet... I thought I spilled water so I did nothing about it then I went to move the thing... and ......... it was leaking..........................now parts of my bed are wet...There's no way I'm going for a 3rd one the water isn't that cold in thing and taste out of it is not like the hydro flask... I might just go back with the Hydro Flask or the Evernote water bottle.. Thank you for reading!

They work as advertised and were perfect for taking on a beach trip. They are constructed so they can stand on its own on a flat surface. The only difficult thing is drying them out after use. I placed a small, new paint stirrer into the bottle to keep it open and let it air dry.

I used this HARD for 4 full days in the Tennessee sun at Bonnaroo 2013.I bought 3 just in case they weren't durable, but I only used one and I'm still using it right now.It's durable, it's cheap, and it holds a lot of water. What more could I ask for?
