I love that these screw into the corn cob and you can throw them into the pot to cook along with the corn. They cool off quickly and little hands can manage them. Our 2 year old has no problem holding them, and I throw them in the dishwasher small items bin and they come out perfectly clean. Plus they come in their own container to store them safely. And they are safe, I still watch that they don't come out but because you screw them in usually before the cob is cooked, that doesn't happen.

Maybe I'm too soon writing a review for this, because I've only had them a week or so, but I can't believe I've wasted so many years using the metal two-tine style cob holders. This screw design is so much easier! Just cut off the stalk end (and eat the kernels off it if you want) and insert the screw into the cob. You might need to cut the other end too, but I've been successful without that step. The main thing I had to get used to is remembering to rotate the cob AWAY with the right hand, or TOWARD with the left hand, to avoid unscrewing. At the moment, these are one of the products that have just delighted me this year.

These are great. I have gone thru so many types. These screw in, easy to use and they work. You can use one or both in the same cob. Love them. Finally corn cob holders that work.

Very nice quality. Easy to install. The colors are nice an bright. They came in a nice retail package (if you were giving as a gift). Love that you can put them on before cooking the corn and that they can go in the dishwasher.

I actually bought these to make banana splits; haven`t tried them for corn on the cob yet, but I think I`d better not have big cobs as the "boats" are not that big.

These cob holders work reasonably well but I find the screw is a little too short and doesn’t always securely hold. Also, the flange between the screw and handle blocks the kernels on the ends of cobs. These would be better without the flange.
